Minoxidil Hair Treatment - Is Minoxidil Hair Treatment Effective?

Minoxidil Hair Treatment - How effective is it really?

In this article I'm going to talk about the Minoxidil hair treatment that many use to help treat their hair loss. I was really curious about this formulas as I've heard it on several resources when hair loss treatments were brought up. Its one of the main ingredients of the popular Rogaine brand and many other hair loss products. I was a bit skeptical as to how well it can actually treat balding. I did research on it and found some interesting things out. Posted below are my findings.

Background - This treatment was actually not used for hair loss at first. Minoxidil was originally used to treat hypertension in both men and women. Surprisingly, patients who used Minoxidil noticed that their hair growth was dramatically increased. Even patients who lost hair experienced hair growth in areas where their hair was gone. Further research on Minoxidil confirmed that it can be a viable solution in helping to treat your hair, especially when applied directly to the scalp. The FDA ended up approving the use of both the 2% and 5% solutions for both men and women.

Results - There have been clinical studies that have shown the effectiveness of the formula on its patients. I checked the most unbiased sources I could find on the internet to see what past users were saying. From the feedback I received, it was pretty mixed. For some, Minoxidil really helped to regrow new hair and for others, not so much. Therefore I would advice you to try it out for yourself to see if it works for you.

Best Option - Provillus - The best way to combat your hair loss using Minoxidil hair treatment is using it alongside many other treatment options. I say this because treating hair loss from a few different angles is the best way to see the most effective results. For example, herbal hair loss supplements should be taken because they give your body essential vitamins and minerals it needs for healthy hair growth. Herbs such as Saw Palmetto are important in your hair loss since they inhibit the DHT hormone from doing further damage to your hair follicles. When this is all mixed in with a proper Minoxidil topical solution, the effects are really effective. It gets a bit difficult having to go out and find separate products to do all of these important tasks. I recommend looking into Provillus because it contains all of these essential components you need to look for in a solid hair loss program. From the feedback I've read from past customers, most were happy with the results they saw. For these reasons, Provillus may be the best option you can take to help fight your hair loss.

What about Rogaine?!? It's the most popular hair loss product that contains Minoxidil and I didn't even mention it. Click here to find out if it even compares to Provillus and to read other reviews of the top hair loss products.

http://www.minoxidilsatis.com5% is the same as Regaine Extra Strength. There are no differences in composition or quality because Kirkland Minoxidil 5% is actually manufactured by Pfizer, the same company that makes Regaine.

Hi.

I have been using Scino ® Minoxidil content, but for less than a month now. So not much to say. However, if you searched on google, you may find that it is a sign of the REGROWTH OF NEW HAIR that you lose some of the existing hair. But if the fall or worsening continues for more than 2 weeks, you should stop treatment and consult your doctor. Thanks.

Your hair naturally will lose 100 hairs a day so a few hairs is not a big deal. i am at an advanced stage of hair loss and i can sweep out as many as 150 hairs a day. This is generally what iv noiticed for the last two weeks using rogain (i'm just over a month into it)

I was advised by my doctor to use minoxidil 5%. But it says that any of the other treatments should not be taken while using it. No at least some herbal hair oil.

I've gotten the best results from using Minoxidil along with other treatments. I'm also using some info I received from http://www.disease-symptoms.com to help regrow my hair. I enjoyed the information from this hub.
